Everything we've shipped lately. Current version v0.2.1.
Vend stock asks follow the live Near Mint floor on their own
v0.2.11 · September 5, 2026- Your asks are built from the live Near Mint floor when one is on file, but getting one meant tapping Refresh NM prices, and across every vendor's stock that button had never been tapped. So a card that jumped from 41 dollars to a 395 dollar floor was still asking 141.
- Opening your stock with a connection now refreshes any floor that is missing or more than a week old, a few cards at a time, with the same progress chip. Starting a show does the same in the background. The button is still there when you want to check right now.
- Cards with no Near Mint listing are remembered as checked so they are not looked up again on every open.
Buyout offers no longer short the seller on cheaper cards
v0.2.10 · September 5, 2026- Buyout offers were being built from the cheapest listing of any condition, so a Near Mint card could be valued at a Lightly Played price and then discounted again for condition. On a four-card stack that came to 23 percent under market, and one card was offered half of what it should get.
- A raw card in a buyout is now valued from the live TCGplayer floor for its actual condition first, fetched for every card you scan. If that is not available it uses the market price for cards under 100 dollars, and the stored floor only for cards at 100 dollars and up, where that number has been proven against real sales.
- The cart row says which number it used: "listed" when it came from a live listing, "floor" for the high-value floor, and nothing when it is the market price you see in the card details. Your rate stepper still sets the margin.
Faster buyouts, a published buylist, and scanning that stops asking when the answer is obvious
v0.2.9 · September 5, 2026- Buyout now opens straight into the camera, the same as adding cards and price checks. Scan the customer's stack, watch the offer total climb in the cart bar, tap pay. If the phone has no camera or blocks it, the buyout falls back to the search box and the slab button, so you are never stuck.
- You can publish a buylist: the cards you want, at your usual rate, a special rate, or a fixed offer. Switch it public on the Vend dashboard and you get a link and a QR code to put on the table. Customers scan it and know what to pull from their binder before they hand anything over, and when you scan one of those cards in a buyout it quotes your listed terms automatically. This needs the new migration run in the SQL editor first.
- After a buyout you can share a buy ticket with the customer: every card, the rate, the offer, anything you passed on and why, and the total paid. It uses the phone's share sheet, or copies to the clipboard where there is none.
- You can pass on a card in a buyout instead of deleting it. Tap Pass to mark it price, condition, or not buying. Passed cards stay visible, are never paid for, and the end-of-show report counts what you turned away and why.
- The scanner no longer stops to ask which card it is when one candidate is far ahead of the rest. It used to look only at how confident it was in the top match, so a card it was 69 percent sure about still waited for a tap even when the next best guess was 19 points behind. It now also looks at that gap. Measured against 717 real times the scanner stopped and asked, taking the top pick whenever it leads by 10 points would have been right 98.8 percent of the time and would have removed about half those stops. When two candidates are genuinely close it still asks, exactly as before.
- When the scanner stops to ask which variant or finish you are holding, it now names the collector number next to the card name, so you can confirm at a glance that it is asking about the card in your hand and not a same-name printing from another set.
- The app can also offer to move scanning onto your phone when you have not picked a game yet. The recognition model works for every game, but the offer was only ever shown once a game was chosen, so anyone scanning on "Any game" was left on the slower cloud path with nothing to tap.
- The offer now quotes only what it will actually download, and no longer claims a set count when the sets are already saved.
- If the one-time recognition model download fails, the app now keeps the reason and shows it under "Recognition model" in settings, instead of quietly going back to saying the model is not downloaded. The same reason is named in the scanner when a download started there does not finish.
- Fixed a separate bug in the scanner's search box. Adding a card that comes in several finishes raised the which-finish question underneath the search sheet, where it was buried, so the card never reached the cart. The sheet now steps aside while that question is up and comes back once you answer, so you can keep adding.
- When the scanner asks which finish a card is, your answer is now kept with the scan feedback. That is what will let us decide, on real numbers, whether the scanner can stop asking and pick the common finish for you the way some buylist apps do, or whether that would tag too many reverse holos wrong.
Rapid scan: no more pause between cards
v0.2.8 · September 4, 2026- Scanning picks up the next card faster. The scanner was quietly asking the database to re-confirm which game a card belongs to on every single camera frame, so the same card sitting in front of the lens caused 51 separate lookups in six seconds. Each one had to finish before the scanner could look again, which on a phone is where the pause between cards came from.
- It now looks that up once per card and remembers it, along with the card price row and its other printings. In testing the scan rate went up about 30 percent on a fast connection, and the gain should be considerably bigger on a phone on mobile data.
Rapid scan: stop asking which printing on every card
v0.2.7 · September 4, 2026- Scanning no longer stops to ask which version of a card you are holding on nearly every card. In one recent Pokemon set, 79 of 120 cards had more than one version in the price catalog, so two out of every three cards paused for a tap.
- When the versions cost the same, it does not ask at all. On a lot of cards the catalog lists the same physical card twice (a Holofoil row and a Normal row) at exactly the same price, so the question bought you nothing. Those now go straight into your session.
- When the versions do cost different amounts, it asks once and then remembers. Answer Reverse Holofoil for the first card and the rest of the stack is tagged the same way with no more taps. A small chip at the top of the scanner shows what it is applying, and tapping it goes back to asking.
- Same for Dragon Ball and other games where the version is part of the card name, like the Dragon Ball Pattern printings in ST01. It asks once per session instead of once per card. This is a money fix as well as a speed one: the pattern version of a common can be worth 28 times the plain one, and which one you got was being decided by a hair-thin difference in the camera match.
- On the phone app, the scanner now offers to download the card data for the game you picked, right there on the camera screen. Downloading it makes matching run on the phone itself, which is faster and keeps working when there is no signal. It used to be buried in Settings, so most people never found it.
Rapid scan: a way back out, and a snap button
v0.2.6 · September 2, 2026- You can leave Rapid scan again. The arrow in the corner now closes the scanner and puts you back on the scan page with the Rapid, Single card and Binder page tabs, and there is a Back button on that page to leave scanning altogether. Before, the arrow sent you off the page and Rapid reopened on its own the next time you came in.
- Switch modes without leaving the camera. A small Rapid / Single card / Binder page switch sits at the top of the Rapid scanner, and your session cart is kept while you switch.
- A snap button for stubborn cards. If Rapid scan is slow to pick a card up, tap the round button above the controls to take one deliberate shot. A confident read goes straight into your session, a near miss shows you the closest matches to pick from, and a clear miss tells you so instead of leaving you waiting. Snap as many times as you like; the live scan keeps running in between, or tap Pause first to snap card by card.
- No more asking twice. After you snap a card and pick it from the close-call list, the live scan no longer asks you about that same card again while it is still in front of the camera, and a Normal or Holofoil twin of a card you just added is treated as the same card rather than a second copy. Take the card away and show a new one, and Rapid picks up as normal.
Clearer subscription terms for the iOS app
v0.2.5 · September 1, 2026- The Terms now spell out how Pro is billed depending on where you bought it. Buy on the iPhone app and Apple bills you through your Apple Account and handles refunds; buy on the website and our payment processor bills you. Either way it is one subscription per account, and you are never charged twice.
- Cancelling is spelled out too. App Store subscribers cancel in their Apple Account settings, at least a day before the period ends, and website subscribers cancel in Ripfolio settings. Nothing about your price or your features has changed.
Sign in with Apple, and the groundwork for the iOS app
v0.2.4 · August 27, 2026- Sign in with Apple. You can now create an account or log in with your Apple ID, including Hide My Email if you prefer to keep your address private. Google sign-in and email both work exactly as before.
- Subscriptions in the iOS app. When the Ripfolio iOS app arrives, Pro will be purchasable right inside it through the App Store. If you already subscribe on the web, nothing changes and you will never be charged twice - each account has exactly one subscription, managed wherever you bought it.
Pricing out singles at a show gets a lot faster
v0.2.3 · August 24, 2026- Type the number instead of scanning it. Lock a set, tap "Type #" in the scanner, punch in the collector number off the card, and it drops straight into the same session cart the camera feeds. With a set locked it needs no internet at all, so it works on bad hall wifi. It is not a replacement for the camera, it is the answer to a sleeved, glared or worn card that will never scan, and to going down an already-sorted stack.
- The scanner reads collector numbers far more often. Measured against 295 real scans from a show, the scanner now reads the correct collector number about 45 percent more often than before. When it reads the number it can identify the card outright and add it on the first frame, instead of asking you to pick from a list. Card numbers are printed in small, low-contrast, stylised type over foil, which is genuinely hard to read, so this is an improvement rather than a solved problem.
- More number formats understood. Trainer Gallery and Galarian Gallery cards (TG12/TG30, GG01/GG70), promo codes like SWSH284, and numbers where the slash gets misread as a digit now resolve properly instead of being skipped.
Vend Mode gets a settlement card, filters, export — and market prices are unstuck
v0.2.2 · August 21, 2026- Market prices were frozen — and are fixed. Since 12 July, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Lorcana market prices had quietly stopped updating. A database safeguard added in July was blocking the very job that refreshes them, and because it reverted the change without raising an error, every price job kept reporting success. Prices now track TCGplayer again.
- Settlement card in Vend Mode — a running Coming in / Going out / Settlement total for the session, so you can see at a glance who owes what before anyone reaches for a phone.
- Refresh market prices on the spot — a Market button on Vend stock re-checks your table stock against TCGplayer's published numbers and repoints anything that has drifted. It now tells you honestly if a run only got partway, and what it could not price.
- Filter and group your vend stock — filter by game and by set (pick several at once), with cards grouped under set headings and ordered by card number, so pulling a card from the case matches how it is filed.
- Export your vend stock — download the whole table list as a spreadsheet-ready CSV in the same order you see on screen. On iPhone it opens the share sheet so you can save it straight to Files.
- Your vend ask will never be the cheapest copy on the board — market price comes from a once-daily snapshot, so on a climbing card it can drift below the cheapest listing actually live on TCGplayer (a $666 ask against a $673 floor). The ask now takes whichever is higher, and rounding can no longer knock it back under. A discount you set yourself is still applied, and a played copy is still priced below Near Mint.
- Prices now say how fresh they are — rows marked (daily) come from TCGplayer's once-a-day published figures, while 'lowest listed' is fetched live when you open a card. Seeing $687 next to $673 was two different moments, not a mistake.
- Price check flag on vend stock — cards whose ask is off the cheapest live listing by $5 or more get a badge showing the gap in dollars, and a 'Price check' chip filters to just those. Measured on a real 251-card table it surfaces 8 cards instead of 251, because a 42% gap on a $12 binder card is $4.75 while a 9% gap on a $1,068 chase card is $98.
- Live listing prices work again for Dragon Ball Fusion World — a printing filter was throwing away every listing for cards whose printing we label differently to TCGplayer (“Alternate Art” vs “Holofoil”), which silently switched off both the price guard and the price-check flag on nearly half the value of a vend table. One card was asking $270 against 34 live listings starting at $210.
- Vend Mode stock picker shows card art, filters by game and set, and lets you add several at once — tap Select, tick what the customer is buying, then Add to sale. Recognising the picture is faster than reading a name off a list when someone is standing at the counter, and a 5-game, 58-set case is a lot to scroll.
Paste a whole list, bulk-add with variants, and a faster scanner
v0.2.1 · July 17, 2026- Paste a list — on Browse, switch to 'Paste list' and drop in a plain checklist like 'Vikavolt 230/217' (one card per line, quantities like 3x supported). Every card comes back as a tile with live prices — no more searching one by one.
- Bulk add — tap Select on any results, check off cards, and add them all to your Collection, Wantlist, or a List in one go. A review step lets you set condition, copies, and variant per card before confirming.
- Every Pokémon variant, tracked — hundreds of missing printings (like XY Evolutions Charizard's Reverse Holofoil) are now in the catalog with their own prices. The scanner and rip review now ask which variant you're holding when a card has several.
- Scanner speed — cards land in your cart instantly after a match (no more post-scan lag), the loop picks up the next card sooner, and the matched price flashes right on the card.
- Messages fixes — backing out of a counter-offer no longer marks it 'Countered', the stuck unread badge finally clears, and the chat header's collection button now looks like what it does (browse to trade or buy).
Custom lists, smoother scrolling, and smarter collections
v0.2.0 · July 14, 2026- Custom lists — group cards your way (every Pikachu, one artist's work, a grading shortlist). Unlimited lists for everyone, free. Add cards from any card's detail view; each list shows what you've collected vs. what's missing.
- Back-to-top + fast scrubber — tap the ↑ chip at the top of the screen to jump back up, or drag the pill on the right edge to fly through a big collection.
- Collection scrolling is smooth again — a bug made the grid jump around while scrolling; every tile is now the same size so the page glides.
- Filter your collection by set — alongside the game filter, so you can see just your Surging Sparks cards (stats update to match).
- Two value sorts — 'Total value' ranks your stacks (5 copies count 5×), 'Card price' surfaces your chase cards no matter how many bulk copies you own.
- Stacked copies count correctly — a card saved as one row of 4 copies now shows all 4 in the card view (some totals were undercounting).
- Card numbers always visible — long set names (looking at you, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) no longer cut off the #number that tells printings apart.
MTG foils, priced and tracked
v0.1.9 · July 13, 2026- Foil prices for Magic — 45,000+ MTG cards now show their foil market price next to the normal one, in the card view and right on browse tiles.
- Mark your copies as foil — a ✦ toggle when adding (or editing) a copy; foil copies get their own tile and are valued at the foil price everywhere, including analytics.
- Foil-only printings auto-tag — borderless and showcase cards with no non-foil version save as foil automatically, no question asked.
- Scanner asks Normal or Foil — when a scanned Magic card has a foil version, a quick two-button prompt makes sure the right copy lands in your collection.
- Grader picker on cert lookup — the add-by-cert sheet now has PSA / BGS / SGC / CGC buttons (BGS, SGC and CGC lookups are coming online soon).
