Community Guidelines

Real collectors, real rips. The rules that keep the community authentic and welcoming.

1. The spirit of Ripfolio

Ripfolio is a community of real collectors sharing real pack openings. These guidelines keep it that way: authentic, welcoming, and fun. Using Ripfolio means agreeing to follow them. They sit alongside our Terms of Service.

2. Keep it authentic

Verified pack openings are the heart of Ripfolio, so authenticity is non-negotiable:

  • Record live. Rips are captured in-app with your camera. Do not attempt to upload pre-recorded, re-encoded, or screen-captured footage.
  • No faked pulls. Don't stage, edit, or misrepresent what you pulled.
  • Don't game the system. Don't misdeclare product size, manipulate counts, or try to defeat our verification checks.

Attempts to fake verification undermine the trust the whole community relies on, and are grounds for removal.

3. Be decent to each other

Not allowed:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse.
  • Hate speech or slurs based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
  • Sexual content involving minors — ever. Zero tolerance, reported to authorities.
  • Doxxing or sharing someone's private information without consent.
  • Impersonating another person, collector, shop, or Ripfolio staff.

4. No spam or scams

  • No spam, mass-unsolicited messaging, or repetitive low-effort posting.
  • No scams, counterfeit-card sales, chargeback fraud, or deceptive trades.
  • No off-platform payment schemes designed to defraud other members.
  • Don't post other people's content as your own.

6. Reporting

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it from the card, rip, profile, or message where you found it. Reports are reviewed by our team. You can also email support@ripfolio.app for anything urgent.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may:

  • Remove content or revoke a verified badge.
  • Issue a warning.
  • Temporarily suspend or permanently ban an account.

We aim to be fair and proportionate, and we don't reveal the exact internal signals behind anti-fraud decisions (doing so would just help bad actors). Serious or repeated violations can lead to immediate removal without warning.

8. Appeals & questions

If you believe an action was a mistake, email support@ripfolio.app and we'll take another look.
