Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Some links can earn Ripfolio a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
1. The short version
Some links on Ripfolio are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, Ripfolio may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would have anyway.
We show this disclosure in plain language because the FTC requires it, and because you deserve to know when a link can earn us money.
2. Where these links appear
Wherever we display a card's market price — in search, on a card's detail view, in your collection, and on rip pages — we include buttons to buy or browse that card on partner marketplaces:
- TCGplayer (commission of roughly 3–5%)
- eBay, via the eBay Partner Network (commission of roughly 3–4%)
Each of these links opens in a new tab, and carries our affiliate identifier so the partner knows the visit came from Ripfolio.
3. How it affects you
- Your price is unchanged. Commissions are paid by the marketplace out of their margin, not added to your total.
- We don't set or inflate prices. Market prices shown on Ripfolio come from our pricing data sources; the marketplaces set their own checkout prices.
- Buying is always optional. The links are a convenience, never a requirement to use any Ripfolio feature.
4. Why we use them
Affiliate commissions help keep Ripfolio's core features — recording, collection tracking, set completion, and AI card identification — free. They are one of the ways we fund the platform without charging for the basics.
5. Our commitment
- We only link to marketplaces we'd use ourselves.
- A commission never influences which card we identify, the price we display, or any recommendation we make.
- We label affiliate links with a short disclosure near each card price so it's clear in context, not just on this page.
